This presentation will establish a framework to ground Dual and Bilingual Early Childhood Teachers’ knowledge in the science processes to stimulate Early English Learners’ language development, academic vocabulary and science inquiry.  The importance of the outdoor environment will be highlighted in order to demonstrate how the outdoor environment is a beneficial teaching tool that enhances student academic achievement.  In essence, English Learners can use language skills in indoor and outdoor classroom settings to organize and report their scientific inquiry  findings and conclusions.
